AWARD

New York City, May 2005: Interior Design Magazine has awarded the Adjustable Screen with the Future Furniture Award.
The Adjustable Screen can be configured to filter exterior light, divide a room or create an illuminated backdrop. The screen is composed of vertical rows of translucent fiberglass panels joined to each other with high-torque friction computer laptop hinges at their top and bottom edges.

The panels can be manually adjusted to create accordion-like strips that filter light and create a dynamic zigzag sculptural form.

The screen, by its kinetic interactive nature, redefines space and concepts of indoor/outdoor permeability.
