Description: ARCO is a symbolic gateway: a landmark to celebrate the arrival of pilgrims from the “Via Francigena” (“the road that comes from France”). ARCO is located on the road between the Monasteries of “Santa Maria di Stignano” and “San Matteo”. ARCO celebrates the identity of the local community, shaped by the forces of Nature and Faith.
